We are a privately owned multi‑store flooring business that has served North Carolina for over 40 years. We offer a supportive team environment and a positive, collaborative work culture. We are seeking an on‑site Accounting Manager to join our Raleigh office and support our growing operations.

• Manage and perform month‑end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations (bank, credit cards, payroll, and balance sheet accounts)
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and prepare timely financial reports
• Prepare and oversee monthly revenue, operating performance, and expense reports, including review of staff‑prepared work
• Assist with internal management reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Oversee day‑to‑day AP, AR, and payroll support activities
• Review vendor statements, customer balances, and aging reports
• Support internal controls, process improvements, audits, and tax requests
• Work closely with and support an accounting team of 1–2 staff members

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2–4 years of well‑rounded, full‑cycle accounting experience
• Month‑end close and financial reporting experience
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, lookups)
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• A valid driver’s license, with reliable transportation to and from work.
• Be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
• Be able to sit for long periods, standing and using limbs/fingers to perform necessary job functions
• Able to work, M‑F, 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM in an office setting. This is not a remote position.

• Experience in flooring, construction, or building materials
• QFloors (current ERP), RFMS (former ERP), or Paylocity (Payroll) experience
