Accounts Payable Analyst

Supports daily accounts payable functions, ensuring all company expenses are accurately processed, recorded, and paid in a timely manner.

• Review and verify accuracy of incoming vendor invoices and enter them into the accounting system.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies or payment issues.
• Prepare and process weekly/monthly payments to vendors via checks, ACH, or credit card, ensuring all payments are timely and accurate.
• Prepare and post journal entries to appropriate general ledger, ensuring that all accounts are properly maintained and balanced.
• Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payment confirmations.
• Assist in process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounts payable operations.

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends on a wide array of factors including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and geographic considerations. The role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and can participate in medical, dental, vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
