The responsibilities for this key position are:

• Developing a command of GAAP, OCBOA, unique or specialized accounting principles and financial statement presentations
• Obtaining a thorough understanding of generally accepted assurance standards and common assurance procedures
• Drafting financial statements and reports in accordance with standards
• Assuming responsibility for efficiently supervising both assurance and non-assurance engagements
• Effectively communicating with clients to receive information necessary to complete the engagement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s and/or advanced degree
• Min. of 3-5 years’ experience as a staff accountant
• CPA certified or candidate for the CPA exam
• Membership in AICPA and NCACPA, as applicable
• Proficiency in use of computers and accounting-related software programs
• Completion of career development requirements for staff level
• Valid driver’s license and good Motor Vehicle Record
