Senior Revenue Accountant

• Ensure revenue recognition practices comply with ASC 606 and GAAP requirements.
• Review customer contracts and agreements to determine proper revenue treatment and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform monthly and quarterly revenue close activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and revenue analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Legal, and FP&A, to ensure proper accounting treatment of revenue transactions.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements, disclosures, and audit schedules related to revenue recognition.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in revenue accounting operations.
• Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and industry best practices related to revenue recognition.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
• 3+ years of experience in revenue accounting, preferably in a public accounting firm or corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP and revenue recognition systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
