Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced  Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Humanities  to join our faculty. The ideal candidate should have expertise in subjects like History, Political Science, Geography, Economics, or Sociology and a strong understanding of CBSE curriculum guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Humanities subjects to senior secondary students (Grades 11 & 12) as per the CBSE curriculum.
Develop and implement lesson plans that engage and challenge students.
Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and interdisciplinary learning.
Prepare students for board exams with structured assessments and guidance.
Use modern teaching methodologies, including technology integration and interactive activities.
Maintain academic records, evaluate student performance, and provide feedback.
Encourage extracurricular participation related to humanities subjects.
Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum planning and student development.
Stay updated with CBSE guidelines and best teaching practices.

Qualifications & Skills

Educational

Qualification:

Master's degree in a relevant Humanities subject (History, Political Science, Geography, Economics, or Sociology) +

B.Ed (mandatory).

Experience:

Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school.

Skills:

Strong subject knowledge and understanding of CBSE syllabus.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.
Ability to motivate and mentor students.
Commitment to professional development and student success.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in preparing students for CBSE board exams.
Familiarity with NEP 2020 and interdisciplinary teaching approaches.
Participation in curriculum development and school activities.
