About The Opportunity
A clinical role in the Tertiary Care Hospital & Diagnostic Imaging sector providing comprehensive diagnostic and interventional radiology services for inpatient and outpatient care. The position supports emergency imaging, multidisciplinary clinical teams, and quality-driven radiology workflows in Kurra Nawapara Rajim (Raipur), India.
Position: Consultant Radiologist (MD / DNB / DMRD) — On-site, Kurra Nawapara Rajim (Raipur), India
Role & Responsibilities
Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies (CT, MRI, USG, X‑ray, fluoroscopy) and deliver timely, accurate reports consistent with hospital protocols.
Conduct image‑guided procedures (biopsies, drainages, basic interventional procedures) with adherence to asepsis and safety standards.
Provide on‑call and emergency imaging coverage; prioritize rapid reporting for acute clinical cases.
Operate and manage PACS/RIS workflows ensuring image availability, report turnaround, and structured reporting standards.
Collaborate with clinicians in multidisciplinary meetings, tumor boards and case reviews to guide patient management.
Maintain radiation safety, dose optimisation (ALARA), quality assurance and participate in peer review and clinical governance activities.
Skills & Qualifications
Must‑Have
MBBS with MD/DNB/DMRD in Radio diagnosis or equivalent medical qualification and valid medical registration in India.
Demonstrable clinical experience in CT, MRI, Ultrasound and plain radiography interpretation and procedural competence in image‑guided interventions.
Proficiency with PACS/RIS and DICOM workflows and experience maintaining reporting turnaround times.
Knowledge of radiation safety principles and quality assurance protocols for diagnostic imaging.
Ability to participate in on‑call rotas and provide urgent/emergency imaging interpretation.
Strong clinical collaboration skills to support multidisciplinary decision making and effective clinician communication.
Preferred
Fellowship or advanced training in a radiology subspecialty (neuroradiology, musculoskeletal, interventional, body imaging).
Experience with teleradiology platforms or teaching/mentoring junior radiology staff.
Familiarity with advanced post‑processing (3D reconstructions, perfusion imaging) or AI‑assisted imaging tools.
