About the Role

The Medical Records Officer is responsible for maintaining accurate patient records, ensuring proper clinical documentation, and supporting healthcare teams with efficient record management while maintaining confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain, update, and verify patient medical records

· Ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of all medical data

· Support pre-operative and post-operative documentation

· Coding of

· Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and OT staff for clinical records

· Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required for NMC Submission

· Assist in digitization of paper records and organization of electronic files

· Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations

· Registration of Birth and deaths Occurring in Hospital

· Address MLC cases, Insurance and Court legal Quarries.

· Coding of final diseases on files(Medical Coding)

· Manage the documentation and certificate issuance of Brought Dead cases in accordance with hospital

Requirements:

· MRO certification (Mandatory) with bachelor’s degree or related field

· AMRO with 3 to 4 years of experience

· Experience in medical record-keeping and patient documentation

· Knowledge of medical terminology; surgical records experience is an advantage

· Strong organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
