Job Overview
The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing advanced and outstanding care to patients in our critical care unit (CCU).

Pay Range$45.55 - $58.06 per hour
Scheduling Requirements- Full-Time
- Night Shift, 7P-7:30A
- 36 hours weekly
- Current and active New Jersey RN licensure is required or a Compact License with NJ endorsement
- Baccalaureate Degree or Associate Degree in Nursing
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) upon hire
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire or within 6 months from date of hire
- Must be IV certified from an approved facility or complete IV certification within 90 days of hire to the unit
- Minimum 1-2 years plus critical care experience
- Strong critical thinking/assessment skills
- Completion of all Orientation requirements
- Successful completion of all Orientation Programs
- Provide nursing care in the CCU within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards; adhere to ANA code of ethics
- Ensure safety and apply evidence-based practice; communicate with and utilize resource persons and programs
- Report identified safety issues and medical errors
- Maintain knowledge of the patient population served
- Supervise and direct task delegation to appropriate team members; collaborate with other care providers
- Set and evaluate priorities with measurable outcomes toward improvement
- Act as an individual practitioner and interdisciplinary team manager; use the nursing process to tailor the plan of care to the patient
