Senior Legal eBilling Coordinator
Location:
Rahway, NJ 07065
50% onsite - 3 days/week
Duration: 08 Months Contract (Possibility of extension)
- Prior experience in a corporate in‑house legal environment (not a law firm)
- Understanding of e‑billing, data, and reporting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Understanding of SOX requirements and compliance
- Primary contact for troubleshooting, able to communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders at all levels
- BS/BA degree with minimum 4 years of experience or HS degree with minimum 8 years of experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a systems administrator of an e‑billing/matter management or similar billing software, including deployment and implementation
- Subject‑matter expert for resolving technical issues within billing department software
- Familiarity with billing/accounting processes and financial tools such as SAP
- Experience with SOX or other audit compliance
- Manage a legal electronic invoicing platform (TyMetrix 360/T360), legal spend reporting and analysis, and ongoing operation, support, and maintenance of the technology required for this role
- Leverage experience working with large‑scale legal organizations, law firms, Accounts Payable, and Finance departments; possess in‑depth knowledge of legal e‑billing tools and processes, and familiarity with billing/accounting processes and financial tools such as SAP
- Report to the Associate Director, Legal Support, Legal Operations, Innovation & Technology
