You will partner with stakeholders in the business, Global Engineering Solutions and Digital Shop Floor Platform to ensure that capital projects associated with expanding our manufacturing footprint are correctly scoped and delivered with appropriate technology and qualification standards. You will be accountable to partner with appropriate internal and external organizations to ensure that Digital scope is aligned with standards and resourced appropriately for success.
** Purpose of the role
** The Specialist Automation Technical Project Management will have a dynamic role in driving the digital aspects of the Animal Health capital program, contributing to the implementation of new manufacturing capabilities in the European region.

This role offers flexibility, with opportunities to take charge of specific digital elements or work streams within larger capital projects, as well as complete ownership of the digital aspects in smaller capital projects.

You will partner with stakeholders in the business, Global Engineering Solutions and Digital Shop Floor Platform to ensure that capital projects associated with expanding our manufacturing footprint are correctly scoped and delivered with appropriate technology and qualification standards. You will be accountable to partner with appropriate internal and external organizations to ensure that Digital scope is aligned with standards and resourced appropriately for success.

Located in Boxmeer, a prominent engineering hub, this role may also involve supporting projects in other European countries, requiring occasional travel. The ideal candidate will possess experience in Manufacturing Automation and Shop floor technologies, coupled with strong project management skills.
** Tasks and responsibilities
*** Technical Project management of significant Digital work streams on large capital projects or full Digital (IT/OT) accountability on smaller ones across mainland Europe.
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver projects.
* Involvement in projects from early business case work through commissioning and qualification.
* Manage vendor automation deliverables (design docs, software configuration, FAT/SAT protocols and reports, as-built documentation, licenses, source code where applicable).
* Ensure automation designs comply with internal automation standards, cGMP, GAMP, SDLC, data integrity, cybersecurity, and relevant safety/engineering standards.
* Provide automation IT/OT workstream input to project schedules, cost estimates, risks, and status reporting; contribute to continuous improvement of standards and ways of working.
** Your profile
*** Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical/Control Systems Engineering, Industrial/Process Engineering (with automation focus), or related technical IT field.
* Minimum of 5yrs working in manufacturing industry preferably in IT/OT automation controls.
* Experience working in pharmaceutical/biotech or other regulated process industries.
* Knowledge of shop floor automation technology
* Design engineering and knowledge of automation industry standards
* Project management, experience working in capital projects is an advantage.
