Deputy Director of Sixth Form - Academic Support.

As Soon As Possible or April 2026. Closing date: 4 February 2026. This role supports the Sixth Form across Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership sites and reports to the Director and Deputy Director of the Sixth Form.

• Lead the Post-16 SEND provision and develop comprehensive student profiles to ensure individual learning needs are met within the classroom.
• Liaise with departments, parents/carers, and Sixth Form Administrators across all campuses.
• Lead and contribute to annual reviews and evaluations to maintain high standards of teaching and learning in the Sixth Form.
• Demonstrate visionary leadership, drive and ambition; manage competing demands and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Display excellent interpersonal skills and effective people management.
• Support the Director and Deputy Director in strategic development and execution of the Sixth Form vision and values.

• Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding leadership in a Sixth Form or equivalent setting.
• Deep passion and enthusiasm for the subject area; commitment to exceptional standards of teaching and learning.
• Ability to motivate, challenge and inspire students to achieve their best.
• Excellent relationships with students and staff; tenacity in maintaining outstanding results in the Sixth Form.
• Strong collaborative and communicative skills; ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across campuses.
