Operations Manager, Systems Engineer
Regal Rexnord is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement (CI) Leader for our Motion Control System team in Radford, VA. This team is primarily responsible for the rigorous application of the Regal Rexnord Business System (RBS) tools across the Motion Control System business to drive sustainable process improvements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead lean initiatives and champion the use of RBS to drive continuous improvements and transformation strategies across sites.
- Partner with all levels of leadership to develop a Continuous Improvement roadmap for the organization.
- Drive problem‑solving methodologies with Operations teams focused on KPI achievement.
- Lead hands‑on problem solving on the plant floor (Gemba) and facilitate workshops and Kaizen events with team members.
- Serve as a business partner to commercial leadership teams worldwide, implementing and influencing best practices, drawing conclusions from data, and turning insights into recommendations and proposals to support growth initiatives.
- Prioritize customer requirements and commit to meeting or exceeding expectations.
- Continuously improve internal processes to create value for the customer.
- Manage change by engaging the organization in long‑term improvement actions while meeting current business performance needs, balancing strategy and tactics.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
- 7+ years of professional experience in manufacturing or program management with a focus on Continuous Improvement or Lean.
- Proven success with CI tools such as 80/20 analysis, Value Stream Mapping, 6S, Flow, Standard Work, Visual Management, and Problem Solving.
- Ability to lead and teach a site with a bias toward action and a “say‑do” mindset.
- Expert critical‑thinking skills to properly identify problem areas and potential solutions.

- Minimal travel required.
- This position will be based in Radford, Virginia.
- Candidate must be on-site in the MCS facilities 3‑4 days a week.
