Job DescriptionPOSITION:
The School of Teacher Education and Leadership at Radford University invites applications for a tenure‑track position with primary responsibilities to the M.S. in Educational Leadership program and additional responsibilities in the Ed.D. in education program. The M.S. in Educational Leadership program serves students seeking a Virginia Administration and Supervision credential in a year‑round, fully online environment and the Ed.D. program serves students seeking advanced leadership positions, including superintendency.
The School of Teacher Education and Leadership seeks applicants with expertise in PK‑12 school leadership and administration.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidates will have an active program of research; be responsible for teaching online courses in the program; supervise and serve on Ed.D. dissertation committees; and provide service to the Department, College, University, and professional organizations or other external agencies, including through the procurement of external funds and grant management. They will also be responsible for participating in student recruitment activities, student advising, community outreach, and supporting accreditation efforts.

CONDITIONS:
The position is a tenure‑track, 12‑month faculty appointment in the School of Teacher Education and Leadership with the expectation of summer teaching and advising. Local residency is required. - An earned doctorate in educational leadership or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning is required. Candidates who have completed all doctoral work but have not yet defended their dissertation at the time of the application will be considered, although candidates must have their degree conferred by the contract start date.
- Candidates must have substantial experience in PK‑12 teaching and school leadership/administration.
- Candidates must value the integration of applied and theoretical research knowledge, the use of field‑based experiences, and collaborative work with diverse stakeholders to effect positive change in the lives of individuals and the communities in which they live.
