Pay Grade 12 | Salary: $23.90 per hour | Locality Premium: $2.63 per hour

Executive Branch | Full time | Eligible for overtime pay | 18A | 40.0 hours/week

The Radcliff Veteran Center is a skilled nursing facility that cares for the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Veterans. Our mission is to Serve Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care.

The LPN provides nursing care for residents under the direction of a RN or physician.

• Performs nursing duties under direction of a RN or physician.
• Administers medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Collects assessment data and cares for veterans within the scope of the LPN clinical skills.

Skills:

None.

Special Requirements: Must be licensed in Kentucky as a practical nurse or have a valid work permit issued by the Kentucky Board of Nursing. Must maintain required licensure, certification(s), or other credentials.

Duties may involve close work with possibly hostile mental patients. May be exposed to infectious waste, diseases and conditions requiring following safety procedures.

This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
