Overview

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is looking for a dynamic Mental Health Tech! If you have a desire to work in an engaging environment with a team of professionals dedicated to the healing and health of the patients we serve, we want to hear from you!

The Mental Health Technician is responsible for performing delegated assignments to meet the age specific physical, social, and behavioral needs of the patients. The MHT provides routine non-acute physical, behavioral, and mental care to the patient on the milieu under the direction of licensed staff.

Responsibilities include providing patient care and support under supervision, ensuring safety and well‑being of patients, and assisting licensed staff in delivering mental health services in an inpatient setting.

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• Experience in direct patient care AND/OR
• Completion of Nursing Assistant Training/previous psychiatric experience preferred
