** Job Overview
** We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dock Lead to oversee daily dock operations, manage freight handling, and coordinate transportation activities.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team, optimize processes, and ensure seamless shipping and receiving operations within a fast-paced warehouse setting.
** Responsibilities
* ** Demonstrate strong time management skills to effectively prioritize daily tasks and operational demands
* Lead and oversee a team of 4–6 employees, providing direction, accountability, and support
* Manage overall throughput of the receiving dock to ensure efficiency and productivity
* Coordinate and manage 20–30 inbound loads per day
* Oversee and maintain the daily inbound schedule to ensure timely processing
* Ensure accuracy of data input across multiple systems and platforms
* Monitor and maintain quality standards of team performance
* Conduct routine audits to ensure compliance with procedures and accuracy standards
** Experience
* ** Experience with freight handling, shipping & receiving procedures, and materials management.
* Demonstrated ability in process improvement initiatives such as lean methodologies and continuous improvement strategies.
** Schedule
* ** 1st
Shift: 6am-2:30pm
* Hours:
8-9-hour shifts with possible Saturday work
* Pay: $21/hour
