Salary: $18-25 based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate milling, lathe, and broaching machines according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to produce quality components.
- Inspect and measure parts using calipers, veneers, micrometers, and/or height gauges, CMMs and other precision instruments.
- Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, speeds, and feeds to optimize machining performances.
- Perform machine setups. tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to ensure accuracy.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Monitor machine operations and troubleshoot issues related to tooling, programming, or part quality.
- Organize and maintain accurate production records, documentation, and quality control logs.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure a clean, organized work area.
- Collaborate with engineers and programmers to improve processes and resolve production challenges.
- Uphold safety standards and comply with company and industry regulations.
- High school diploma or technical certification in Machining, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating CNC milling machines (HAAS, Mazak, Fanuc, DMG Mori, or similar).
- Strong understanding of G-code, CNC controls, and machining principles.
- Proficient with precision measurement tools and GD&T.
- Solid understanding of computer ERP system (Epicor)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 30-50 lbs., standing nearly 100% and occasional bending, squatting throughout the workday.
