Badger Talent Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a full-time, on-site opportunity in Racine, WI
. This role plays a key part in bridging product design and production—translating engineering concepts into efficient, cost-effective manufacturing processes within a precision machining environment.

- Lead process improvement initiatives to increase yield, throughput, and overall equipment efficiency
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, scrap drivers, and cost reduction opportunities
- Develop and refine manufacturing processes using Lean principles, PFMEA, and structured problem-solving
- Design and improve tooling, fixtures, work holding, and production layouts to optimize flow and ergonomics
- Create and maintain 3D/2D models and manufacturing drawings in Solid Works
- Develop and update process documentation, routings, control plans, and work standards within ERP systems
- Support quoting by developing cost models and evaluating the manufacturability of new parts
- Partner closely with supervisors and operators to implement sustainable, shop-floor improvements
- Train production staff on updated procedures and continuous improvement initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
- Manufacturing/Process Engineering experience in a machining or industrial environment
- Strong proficiency with Solid Works (CAMWorks preferred)
- Working knowledge of CNC programming and G-code troubleshooting preferred
- Experience with Lean manufacturing and process optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- ERP system experience preferred
