Join the dynamic team at Acorn Assembly. We are a rapidly growing technology company in search of a customer-focused, detail-oriented professional to join us. This is a full-time position. As a Program Coordinator, you will serve as the primary operational point of contact for customer accounts. This role will ensure a smooth handoff across each manufacturing discipline from Sales to final shipment.
The Program Coordinator drives customer communication on new and existing orders, quote readiness, as well as internal production communication to ensure that we delight our customers. We will provide training on our business and the industry.
- Ensure Requests for quote (RFQ's) are complete and accurate
- Ensure orders are job-ready before release to production
- Proactively manage risks (materials, documentation, test/program readiness, capacity constraints)
- Maintain customer confidence through clear, timely, proactive communication
This role will serve as the day-to-day operational owner for assigned customers and will engage closely with our customers in all stages of their orders, from order to delivery and beyond.
You will collaborate with internal teams including sales, engineering, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project execution and on-time delivery of customer orders.
This role will be responsible for providing regular updates on customer project status to sales and management, as well as performing other duties as needed.
Qualifications- College Degree or equivalent level of education and experience
- A minimum of 3 years of successful customer service, program coordination, or inside sales in a manufacturing environment. (EMS/PCB industry strongly preferred.)
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including ability to communicate schedule and risk clearly
- Willingness for occasional travel for client meetings and other business-related activities.
