Patient Care Coordinator – Healthcare Office (Racine, WI)
Pay: $19‑21/hr |
Full‑Time | Contract‑to‑Hire
Schedule: Monday‑Friday (Two shift options) + At least ONE weekend day preferred

What You’ll Do- Patient & Customer Support
- Handle ~30 inbound calls and 40‑50 outbound calls daily
- Assist walk‑in patients and provide exceptional in‑person support
- Communicate promptly with patients regarding referral updates and documentation needs
- Resolve issues with professionalism and empathy
- Documentation & Order Processing
- Complete DME (Durable Medical Equipment) order entry
- Accurately process, verify, and submit documentation and authorizations
- Work within multiple online EMR systems
- Enter, review, and track pertinent patient and insurance information
- Ensure all data meets payer and compliance guidelines
- Team Collaboration & Quality Assurance
- Partner with Customer Service and Management to identify trends
- Request new insurance carriers be added to internal systems when needed
- Maintain detailed call documentation following SOPs
- Meet quality and performance expectations consistently
- Utilize internal tools and resources, including authorization guidelines, insurer requirements, fee schedules, and more

- Stable schedule with two shift options:
- 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- 1+ year of customer service or call center experience (40+ calls/day environment)
- Strong multitasking, time management, and problem‑solving skills
- Comfort navigating computer systems and Microsoft Office
- Professional communication skills (phone, email, in‑person)
- DME or healthcare experience
- Bilingual (especially Spanish)
- Office/administrative support background
