Position: Data Center Maintenance Technician 4

Our client, a leading organization in data center operations, is seeking a Data Center Maintenance Technician 4 to join their team. This is a senior-level Data Center Technician / Hardware Engineering Lead–type role focused on supervising the design, build, testing, and deployment of computer hardware systems.

The person won’t just rack and stack equipment — they’ll oversee prototype builds, assign hardware testing, support cross‑functional teams (engineering, marketing, suppliers), and evaluate hardware/software integration. It’s a technical leadership position that combines hardware knowledge, team oversight, and customer‑facing coordination.

Job Title: Data Center Maintenance Technician 4

Location: Quincy, WA

Pay Range: $37/hr - $42/hr

What’s the Job?
  • Supervise and coordinate the installation, maintenance, and repair of data center hardware and infrastructure.
  • Research, design, develop, and test computer‑related equipment for various industrial and scientific applications.
  • Oversee the build, testing, and modification of product prototypes using working models or computer simulations.
  • Assign staff to analyze user needs and recommend appropriate hardware solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate hardware and software interfaces, ensuring operational and performance standards are met.
What’s Needed?
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent training/education.
  • 8+ years of customer service or technical support experience in a related environment.
  • Strong knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment, and computer hardware/software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to mentor team members and provide constructive feedback.
