Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager in Quincy, MA. Responsibilities:

• Project Manager will lead and manage logistics and retail projects involving Oracle POS and multi-carrier logistics solutions.
• Oversee integration efforts with Oracle and Pro Ship systems to optimize carrier selection and reduce costs for retail stores.
• Collaborate closely with the logistics team, Oracle stakeholders, and system integrator (Zenzar) to ensure project success.
• Coordinate with carriers such as Fed Ex, UPS, and others for seamless implementation.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with project objectives, budgets, and timelines.
• Provide regular status updates and documentation for leadership and stakeholders.

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in logistics or retail environments.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle POS and logistics systems.
• Familiarity with carrier operations (Fed Ex, UPS, etc.).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong understanding of cost optimization strategies in logistics.
• Ability to manage complex projects with multiple vendors and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and remotely for project duration.
• PMP or similar project management certification (preferred).
• Experience with Pro Ship and multi‑carrier shipping solutions (preferred).

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
