Join our team as a Permanent Facilities Maintenance professional in the thriving Manufacturing industry. This role is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a knack for troubleshooting and problem-solving, who is eager to apply their skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the functionality and safety of our manufacturing facilities, ensuring top-notch conditions for our production processes.
Responsibilities- Overseeing the maintenance of all facility systems, including HVAC, fire suppression systems, plumbing, and electrical systems, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
- Performing regular inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
- Coordinating and conducting necessary repairs and maintenance tasks, ranging from simple fixes to more complex tasks involving the facility's infrastructure.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining a clean, secure environment.
- Implementing preventive maintenance measures to avoid potential equipment failures or breakdowns.
- Collaborating with the management team to strategize on facility improvements and modifications.
- Responding promptly to emergencies or urgent issues that arise during or after business hours.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in plumbing, electrical systems, and building maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment and systems.
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, to complete projects and tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively relay information to team members and management.
- A keen eye for detail, with a commitment to quality and safety.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different site locations as needed.
- Certification in a skilled trade (electrician, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) or an engineering degree would be a significant asset.
- Physical stamina and dexterity, as the job may involve lifting heavy items and working in confined spaces.
