Corporate Transactional Midlevel

Overview

A well-established Massachusetts law firm is seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney to join its corporate transactional practice. This role is ideal for an attorney with significant M&A experience who is ready to take a lead role on transactions while working in a collaborative, supportive environment.

• Lead and manage M&A transactions from start to finish
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents
• Work directly with clients and provide strategic legal guidance
• Supervise and mentor junior associates as needed
• Handle matters with a high degree of independence

• 5+ years of corporate transactional experience
• Substantial hands-on experience with mergers & acquisitions
• Ability to manage deals independently and take ownership of matters
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Massachusetts bar admission (or ability to waive in)

• Reasonable billable expectation of 1,500 hours (not strictly enforced)
• Meaningful responsibility and autonomy on M&A matters
