Technical SME - Cert. Management & Migration (FTC)
Qualifications and responsibilities for the Technical SME role focused on certificate management and migration.
Base pay range$57.61/hr - $66.36/hr
Responsibilities- Design and guide technical testing for certificate management and migration use cases
- Own end-to-end testing preparation and execution in partnership with platform and infrastructure teams
- Drive and maintain detailed certificate migration tracking, dependencies, and status
- Work directly with engineering and platform teams to unblock issues and keep delivery moving
- Produce clear, actionable artifacts and updates to support decisions and timeline management
- 3-5 years of experience
- Strong, hands‑on experience with certificate management and PKI‑related workflows
- Technical background sufficient to guide and validate testing efforts (not advisory‑only)
- Experience working directly with infrastructure, security, or platform teams
- Ability to operate independently in a fast‑moving, ambiguous environment
- Hands‑on experience managing certificate lifecycle processes
- Experience in design and operation of PKI
- Self‑accountable and autonomous, given clear direction
- Capable of communicating technical requirements with business and application owners
- Strong execution and delivery discipline with comfort owning work streams end to end
- Proactive, detail‑oriented, and willing to drive follow‑ups and resolve blockers
- Experience automating certificate lifecycle processes, especially with Key Factor Command
- Bilingual in Spanish/English is highly preferred, but not required
Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
