Business Solution Architect

The individual will support an enterprise architecture vision by participating in architecture strategy, guidelines, patterns, frameworks and practices. The business solution architect will have a specific focus on Cogeco Digital OSS / BSS systems (Customer Relationship Management, Product/Catalogue Information Management, Sales Order Management, Customer Support Management, and Technical Support Management via all channels – customer self-serve, AI agent, agent digital, agent phone, Door 2 Door, etc.).The

Business Solution Architect will be working on agile methodology dedicated and engaged on multiple squads and will collaborate with other teams on elements of integration of the environment(s) with other upstream and downstream systems. As part of the Enterprise Architecture team, the incumbent will be responsible for providing business solution architecture as well as technical direction/guidance.
· Advise and guide business and stakeholders on technology capabilities, mapping to business requirements in alignment with End to End Enterprise Architecture Strategy.
· Work with business stakeholders and analysts to understand and influence key business requirements that drive solutions.

EDUCATION:

* · Bachelor’s Degree or combination of relevant education and experience.
· 5+ years’ experience in IT Architecture, Solution Architecture, Business Architecture or similar experience required.
· 3+ years’ experience in Telecommunications, ideally both wireline and wireless an asset
· Extensive experience with API development and integration across Business Systems – CRM, OSS, BSS, Finance, Product Catalogue and 3rd party integrations (payment, provisioning, fulfillment, inventory, etc).
· Experience in a fully digital environment
· Ideally IT billing and Finance Operations experience.
· Requires extensive Front End (website, digital check out, customer portal), Billing and CRM experience.
· Experience with Service Now capabilities.
· eCommerce experience, specifically with regards to Catalogue Management, Buy-Flow, Self-Serve and supporting technologies.
· Ability to drive solutions which align with the end to end Enterprise Strategic Architecture.
· Ability to drive a strategic and technological planning process.
· Ability to interpret business needs into reliable, agile and viable solutions.
· Ability to understand financial assessments as they apply to architecture solutions.
· Ability to formulate and/or understand ‘change requests’ against vendor solutions, challenge vendor estimates for those ‘change requests’ and propose alternative solutions, in the best interest of Cogeco.
· Possess a thorough knowledge of architecture concepts, e.g., service oriented architectures, and current leading practice specifically in the telecommunications industry.
· Cloud architecture experience.
