Payroll Specialist

CFS is partnering with a rapidly expanding organization in Quincy to hire a Payroll Specialist. • Process weekly or bi-weekly payroll for all employees accurately and on schedule
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage laws
• Manage payroll tax filings, reporting requirements, and year-end documentation
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and benefits in a timely, professional manner
• Partner with HR and Accounting teams to ensure accurate data flow and reconciliation
• Assist with internal and external audits, providing payroll-related documentation as needed
• Identify opportunities to enhance payroll processes for improved efficiency

• 3+ years of payroll experience, with multi-state payroll strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in payroll platforms, with experience in UKG, ADP, Paychex, Quick Books, or similar systems
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to troubleshoot payroll-related issues
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion
