Jump start a rewarding Human Services career as a Residential Rehab Educator/Counselor. Join our team and play an essential role in enabling adults with mental illness to live as actively and independently as possible.

Residential Rehab Educators/Counselors assist clients experiencing behavioral health issues with goal setting and achievement, activities of daily living, engagement in meaningful activities, socialization, transportation and administration of medication. Implement treatment plans to help clients reach goals and manage symptoms. Help clients develop independence and enhance quality of life.

Education: HS diploma or equivalent; coursework in psychology, human services, social work, health sciences towards an associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Previous experience working in the health and human services field and/or related education or training.
  • We provide ongoing training and development.
  • Patience and the ability to interact with individuals with disabilities.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and desire to help others.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn to use an electronic health record system.
  • Must have a current valid driver’s license and safe driving record; access to a personal vehicle may be required at some sites.
  • CPR, First Aid and MAP certifications will be required.
