Jump start a rewarding Human Services Career as a Residential Rehab Educator/Counselor. Join our team and play an essential role in enabling adults with mental illness to live as actively and independently as possible!
Residential Rehab Educators/Counselors assist clients experiencing behavioral health issues with goal setting and achievement, activities of daily living, engagement in meaningful activities, socialization, transportation, and administration of medication. They implement treatment plans that help clients reach goals and manage symptoms, promote independence, and enhance quality of life.
Education:
- HS diploma or equivalent; coursework in psychology, human services, social work, or health sciences toward an Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in the health and human services field and/or related education or training.
- Patience and understanding to interact with individuals with disabilities.
- Dependability, flexibility, and a desire to help others.
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn to use an electronic health record system.
- Current valid driver’s license and safe driving record; access to a personal vehicle required at some sites.
- CPR, First Aid and MAP certifications required.

Compensation is based on candidate experience, qualifications, and certifications and licenses. Annual ranges listed are based on a full-time, 40 hours per week position.
Salary Range$20 - $20 USD
