Puzzle Pieces is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Mental Health Clinician to join our collaborative team on a part‑time fee‑for‑service basis, supporting children ages 12 and under with diverse needs on Fridays and/or Saturdays
. Our practice is rooted in a respectful, family‑centered, and neurodiversity‑affirming approach, with a multidisciplinary team that includes speech‑language pathologists, mental health clinicians, and occupational therapists. We use the DIRFloortime® model in our interventions. While no prior experience with this model is required, we welcome candidates with an openness to learn and grow with us.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessment to understand the mental health needs of children and their families.
  • Provide evidence‑based individual, group, and family therapy to support children reaching their goals.
  • Work closely with parents, guardians, teachers, and others involved to create a collaborative and supportive network for the child.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date clinical records using the practice’s electronic health records.
  • Actively participate in weekly team meetings and internal professional development that supports the practice in better understanding the families we work with.
  • Engage in regular clinical supervision in a 1:1 or small group setting.
Requirements
  • A Doctoral or Master’s degree in a mental health field, from an accredited graduate program.
  • Independent license in Massachusetts (Licensed Psychologist, LICSW, LMHC) preferred but not required.
  • Passion for working with children and families; experience with neurodiverse children preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to be a true team player with our interdisciplinary team and demonstrate strong communication skills.
