Join our team of passionate, empathetic, and supportive superheroes that make work feel like a joyous adventure every day. The Center offers hands‑on ABA therapy for children aged 2–12 with autism or other developmental and language delays. In this role you will deliver one‑on‑one therapy, collect data, write therapy notes, and collaborate with BCBA staff to advance client progress.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct 1:1 therapy sessions with clients.
- Follow prescribed skill acquisition and behavior support plans.
- Collect and record data; write detailed therapy notes for each session.
- Communicate progress to parents and caregivers under guidance of the BCBA.
- Assist BCBA in preparing and organizing client materials.
- Maintain and acquire functional knowledge through required training.
- Adhere to BACB guidelines and work toward becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) if not already certified.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Lift and carry clients who may be up to 30 pounds.
- Restrain / hold / transport clients and execute required physical movements.
- Maintain various postures including kneeling, squatting, crouching, crawling, standing, and bending for extended periods.
- Walk and run to chase clients while maintaining a three‑foot safe distance.
- Attend to client basic needs such as feeding, diapering, toileting, and dressing.
- Use manual dexterity for computer and electronic data entry.
- Read and comprehend written communication, both on‑screen and on paper.
- Upload data to electronic systems and maintain prolonged computer work.
- Assemble, clean, and maintain therapy space and equipment.
- Administer medications under supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and be detail‑oriented.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the team and clients.
- Integrity and professionalism in all assignments.
- Experience working with children aged 2–12 in a classroom, daycare, or 1:1 setting.
- Experience applying principles of Applied Behavior Analysis; educational or allied‑health background.
- Competitive salary: $19–$25 per hour (market competitive).
- Guaranteed 40‑hour work week from 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Monday through Friday.
