Our Northeast Division works on diverse civil, environmental, water resources, and traffic/transportation projects in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking an experienced Transportation Project Manager for a hybrid role in our Providence, RI Transportation Practice.
Preference is for candidates in Providence, RI, but candidates in any New England location will be considered if they can travel to client sites in RI, MA, and CT. Primary pay range: $120,000 - $150,000 USD per year.
- Supervise and direct the preparation of design and construction bid documents for transportation (roadway) projects involving multi-modal accommodations (Complete Streets), including corridor, intersection, and downtown improvements
- Effectively present at meetings with clients and the public
- Maintain project financials/budgets, schedules, and project advancement
- Manage/mentor staff, provide guidance, manage workloads, and resolve issues
- Prepare project scopes and budgets for proposals and contracts
- Maintain communication with clients including municipalities and regional agencies
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in transportation engineering including roadway design and project management
- Broad understanding of transportation design and planning standards, including submission processes for state agencies (e.g., MassDOT, RIDOT, NHDOT)
- Professional Engineering License
- Demonstrated ability to plan and manage projects, maintain budgets and schedules
- Strong client-relations skills

- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
- Strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills
