Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Opportunity for a full-time Special Education Teacher in a high school setting near Burlington, MA, specializing in programs for students with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. This contract position is ideal for educators passionate about supporting diverse learners in an inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored instruction to students with moderate to severe special needs, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs effectively
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with families and staff to support student growth

Qualifications:

  • Valid DESE license in moderate or severe special education required
  • Experience working with high school students facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges is preferred
