Overview
Are you a passionate ballet instructor who loves working with children? Ensemble Schools is looking for experienced JAZZ TEACHERS to join our teaching team at In Sync Center of the Arts. Our growing studio in Quincy, MA focuses on providing quality instruction in a safe environment. We seek instructors who can deliver engaging, in-person lessons and contribute to the vibrant dance community.
In Sync emphasizes developing life skills in students in addition to dance technique.
We are looking for teachers who can teach jazz, AND/OR tap. Students are 8+. The teacher would instruct at both the recreational and competitive level. Significant experience in jazz (and/or tap) training and instruction is required for this position.

- Instruct group classes in jazz teaching foundational technique.
- Have and utilize a solid foundation in jazz.
- Choreograph dances for recitals.
- Showcase a strong background in dance through educational, teaching, and/or performing experience.
- Demonstrate a genuine love for teaching and experience working with young dancers.
- Provide reliable transportation and pass a routine background check.
- Exhibit traits of dependability, professionalism, enthusiasm, punctuality, and friendliness.
- Significant experience in jazz and/or tap training and instruction (required).
- Enthusiastic and vibrant personality for engaging young dancers.
- Post-secondary dance training experience such as a certificate or degree in dance performance, education, or related fields (not mandatory but a plus).
In Sync’s approach is based on love and respect for our students, no matter how young. We opened our dance studio in Weymouth in 1996 and expanded into Milton in 1997. Now, In Sync Center of the Arts at 550 Adams Street in Quincy is a new chapter in the In Sync story and we teaching children from Quincy, Milton, Weymouth, Dorchester, Boston, Braintree, Abington, Canton, Sharon and beyond.
For the past ten years the center offers the same excellence in dance instruction in addition to music, art and summer programming. In Sync offers classes in preschool dance, ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, pointe, competitive teams, performance teams, voice, guitar, piano, drums, strings, brass and woodwinds.
