Lead Superintendent

One of the largest general contractors in Massachusetts is searching for a Lead Superintendent. The company has been in business for 20+ years and is based in Quincy, MA.

They generate over $150m/year in annual revenue, specializing in residential, commercial, healthcare, academic, and government projects. Over 80% of the business comes from repeat clients, and only 20% from bid-work. This Lead Superintendent will manage medium to large-scale construction projects.

Compensation depends on experience but ranges between 140 - 200K on base salary and includes bonuses, gas cards, and vehicle stipends. Commutes are capped at one hour.

Job Title: Lead Superintendent

Project Types: mid-to-large wood-frame construction projects across residential, commercial, healthcare, academic and government projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers and key personnel to develop and refine strategies.
• Manage site staff and subcontractors, promoting safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and client requirements.
• Oversee construction site operations, ensuring projects meet timelines, specifications, and budgets.
• Conduct site meetings and report to senior management on progress and challenges.
• Facilitate communications between clients, architects, and engineers.

Skills & Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or any related field.
• MUST have at least 3+ years of experience as the lead superintendent on projects.
• CSL License, OSHA 30 and Hot Work Permit.
