Job Overview

Prominent Builders Inc is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our Project Management team in the Greater Boston area. This role is responsible for leading 1-2 ground-up construction projects, managing projects through various phases from preconstruction to closeout.

The ideal candidate is a proven leader who can oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractor coordination, and client communication while mentoring junior team members. Key Responsibilities

Manage 1–3 ground-up residential multi‑family construction projects simultaneously

Oversee projects from preconstruction through final closeout

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets

Lead subcontractor buyout, contract negotiations, and scope reviews

Coordinate closely with Superintendents to ensure field operations align with project objectives

Monitor project costs, manage change orders, and ensure financial performance

Conduct regular project meetings with internal teams, clients, architects, and subcontractors

Identify and mitigate risks to maintain schedule and budget integrity

Mentor and support junior Project Engineers or Assistant Project Managers

Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards

Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and problem‑solving

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager (Multi‑Family experience required)

Experience managing multiple ground‑up construction projects simultaneously

Strong understanding of residential and/or commercial construction processes

Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Construction Management, Engineering, or related field)

Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor coordination

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts

Strong leadership and mentoring skills

Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities

Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite

Valid driver’s license required

Schedule

Full‑Time

Monday – Friday

Standard business hours (extended hours may be required based on project deadlines)

Work Location

Onsite at project locations throughout the Greater Boston, MA area

Local travel between project sites required
