The Civi Group has partnered with one of the top general contractors in Massachusetts on their search for a Project Scheduler. Our client is based in Quincy, MA and generates over $150M/year in annual revenue. They specialize in residential, healthcare, academic, commercial and various government building projects.
Compensation depends on experience but is up to $110K.
This Project Scheduler will play a key role in the planning and schedule management of construction projects. Utilizing Microsoft Project and working closely with project teams, trade partners, and consultants, you will be responsible for ensuring that project schedules are baselined and updated efficiently and competitively.
This position will work out of the Quincy, MA office and will require occasional site visits to locations around Greater Boston. This role reports directly to the VP.

Job Title: Project Scheduler
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Microsoft Project, coordinating monthly progress with project teams.
- Use Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling to identify and address potential delays.
- Create and review schedules for pre-bid and post-award phases to meet owner requirements.
- Collaborate with external Project Schedule Consultants to manage deadlines and updates.
- Write project narratives based on input from managers, superintendents, and estimating teams, focusing on production and budget.
- Attend schedule review meetings with project teams, estimating staff, and clients, and record detailed minutes.
- Assist in developing RFP and proposal schedules for preconstruction and bidding.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager OR Assistant Superintendent in the Construction industry
- Prior experience with Microsoft Project - required
- The ability to read plans and create construction schedules
