Staff Accountant – Quincy, MA (Onsite/Hybrid)

A well‑established consumer goods company in Quincy, MA is seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily general accounting activities. This role is ideal for an early‑career accountant eager to grow in a structured, team‑oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy.
- Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and vendor statements.
- Support invoicing, AP/AR functions, and cash applications.
- Assist with month‑end close and internal reporting.
- Support audits and process documentation improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 1–3+ years of experience in accounting.
- Consumer goods, retail, logistics, or distribution experience a plus.
- Strong Excel and organizational skills.
Work Model
- Hybrid or onsite depending on department needs.
