• Only one day per week onsite in Quincy

• Hands on mix of GAAP accounting month end close and special projects
• Major systems transformation underway creating career enhancing project exposure

• Lead core GAAP accounting activities including month end and quarter end close
• Prepare and review account reconciliations and support financial reporting
• Assist with technical accounting and preparation of financial packages
• Partner cross functionally with teams across the organization
• Support process improvements and system enhancement initiatives
• Take ownership of work to expand the analytical focus of senior leadership within the department

• Five to six plus years of progressive accounting experience
• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
• Blend of public and private experience is ideal
• Strong GAAP knowledge and month end close experience
• Experience with larger ERPs such as Dynamics AX or D365 is helpful
• Baseline understanding of inventory accounting
• Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
