Part-Time STOCK CREW

Reports to: Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisor on duty.

Classification: Non-Exempt / Hourly

To unload freight from trucks and stock merchandise in the correct aisles and shelves throughout the store.

• The Stocking crew splits and stocks all freight. They are NOT considered a regular service teammate at Farm & Home Supply and are not to be required to operate the cash registers.
• Assist customers with locating merchandise and inform them of helpful product knowledge.
• Verify proper product rotation and basic stocking of merchandise space allocation.
• Match the UPC number on merchandise to the appropriate shelf label.
• Operate handheld device.
• Removing damaged merchandise from floor as needed.
• Follow company guidelines for department merchandising.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment.
• Follow loss prevention and safety procedures including regular safety checks.
• Attend store and job-related meetings.
• Communicate effectively with customers, management, and coworkers.
• Follow all applicable Company, local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Complete certified training to operate pallet jacks and tow motors. (Must be at least 18 years old)
• Capable of lifting up to and including 50 lbs.
• Consistent attendance for regularly scheduled work shifts is required.
• Other duties and responsibilities that may be required to meet the needs of the business.

• Minimum Age requirement is 18 YEARS OLD and must possess great customer service and communication skills.

Team Members who average a minimum of 25 hours per week after 6 months of employment are eligible for standard dental, vision, accident, legal plan, and identity fraud plan protection.

Pay Range: $15.00 - $17.00
