Job Summary

Position:
Cashier
;
Part‑time; located at Quincy University, 1810 Lind Street, Quincy, IL 62301. Pay: $15.00–$15.50 per hour.

Wednesday to Friday, 4:00 pm–8:00 pm and Sunday, 9:00 am–2:00 pm.

• Perform sales transactions in a timely fashion.
• Enter all sales into the cash register to ensure accurate recording.
• Make change, accept cards and other forms of payment; issue receipts.
• Follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service‑oriented manner.
• Maintain cash drawer compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Observe customer purchases, manage order flow in the cafe line.
• Replenish condiments, coffee, beverages, and general supplies; keep service areas clean.
• Stock pastry case.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory and cash control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all sanitation, Serv Safe and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Previous customer service experience preferred.
