Job Description

The Starting Hourly Rate is $16.25 USD per hour. The Pay Range is $16.25 USD - $24.40 USD per hour.

As a General Merchandise Expert, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming experience for guests, executing daily tasks, and maintaining a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
• Engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
• Execute daily tasks assigned to you by your leader to help achieve goals that align with business priorities.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures, if certified.
• Execute processes including changing prices to products, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed by your leader.
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about the resources, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
