Aya Locums is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum-to-permanent opportunity in Quincy, Illinois, starting February 2, 2026. This position is structured as a true working interview, allowing providers to evaluate the role, team, and culture before transitioning into a permanent position.
Position HighlightsMonday Friday schedule only
7:00am 3:30pm (8-hour shifts with 30-minute lunch)
No call, no weekends
No 10- or 12-hour shifts available
Initial 3-month locums contract with intent to convert to permanent
Full-time preferred; may consider a minimum of one full M F week per month
Hospital and ambulatory surgery center coverage
Care team model with strong physician and CRNA collaboration
Anesthesia tech support for larger cases
Average volume of approximately 60 cases per day across sites
EMR currently in use with Epic implementation planned in 2026
Orthopedics (including total joints)
General surgery
ENT and endoscopy
Urology
OB
Trauma (Level II)
Low-acuity pediatrics only (no NICU or PICU)
No transplants
NBCRNA certification
Illinois license required (open to licensing candidates with timeline flexibility)
New graduates welcome
Flexible skill set preferred; providers will be supported where needed
Highly supportive and collaborative anesthesia team
Strong provider retention and positive department culture
Credentialing typically 6 8 weeks once a full file is submitted
