Overview

Location: Quincy, IL

Pay Range:

  • LPN: $18.66 – $27.99 per hour | Based on Relevant Experience

  • RN: $25.00 – $37.50 per hour | Based on Relevant Experience

Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (some variability based on departmental needs)

About the Role:

As an RN or LPN in Pediatrics at Quincy Medical Group, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, high-quality care to infants, children, and adolescents. This position supports pediatric providers with clinical care and care coordination while helping create a positive, comforting experience for patients and families.

You’ll work in a collaborative, family-centered environment where education, reassurance, and clinical excellence are equally important.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Prepare pediatric patients for visits by verifying information, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical history.

  • Administer immunizations, medications, and treatments as appropriate to licensure.

  • Assist providers during examinations and procedures.

  • Perform point-of-care testing and specimen collection.

  • Monitor patient responses and communicate changes or concerns to providers.

  • Provide age-appropriate patient and family education, including anticipatory guidance.

  • Coordinate referrals, follow-up appointments, and medication refills.

  • Document care accurately and timely within the electronic medical record.

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking of exam rooms and clinical areas.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support pediatric clinic operations.

Qualifications:
  • Active Illinois RN or LPN license required.

  • CPR certification required (available upon hire).

  • Pediatric or family practice experience preferred but not required.

  • Ability to engage with children and families in a supportive, patient-centered manner.
