Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in an acute care setting, requiring an IL RN license and advanced cardiac certifications.
Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care Cardiac Cath Lab setting

• Two-bed cath lab with one EP bed and fourteen holding beds

• Day shifts, 5x8s schedule, with shifts from 8:00am-4:30pm or 7:00am-5:30pm

• Call and standby coverage required, typically 1-2 days per week and every fourth weekend

• Rapid workflow with a door-to-balloon time of 40 minutes

• Uses Allscripts-Sunrise EMR system

• EP experience is preferred but not required

• Provide nursing care during cardiac catheterization procedures

• Call schedule includes every other weekend and occasional weeknights

• Assignment may require support in the holding room when census demands

• Fast-paced environment with quick decision making

• No BSN required for this role
Requirements

• Active IL RN license required

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience

• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, NIHSS

• Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures required

• Allscripts-Sunrise EMR experience preferred
