Operations Manager, Production Manager
Ferretti Search is excited to partner with a leading manufacturing firm as they seek a new Plant Manager to lead their next phase of growth. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for elevating operational maturity, strengthening process discipline, and driving cultural alignment within a profitable but improvement‑oriented facility. The organization has recently invested in automation and capital upgrades and is committed to continued growth and investment.
OperationalLeadership
- Oversee all plant operations across multiple shifts
- Lead production, maintenance, engineering, and administrative functions
- Improve production flow, scheduling, and throughput
- Ensure compliance with EH&S standards and regulatory requirements
- Drive cost discipline and operational efficiency
- Improve margin through labor optimization, scrap reduction, and workflow improvements
- Strengthen plant‑level financial visibility and reporting
- Support annual capital planning and reinvestment strategies
- Lead and develop department heads and supervisors
- Establish accountability and performance standards
- Build credibility in a long‑tenured workforce environment
- Drive structured change management initiatives
- Lead Lean and Kaizen initiatives
- Implement sustainable process improvements
- Support automation integration and new product line implementations
- 7+ years of experience in plant‑level leadership
- Demonstrated Lean implementation experience
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
- Key facility with growth opportunity
