The primary role of the Material Handler is to move products within the plant and to bring material/products to the production areas, as needed. This job requires working with many different departments and with employees at all levels of the organization. This role is required to get products moved, received and shipped on time.

• Forklift experience
• Able to use a computer
• Must be able to multi-task and be detailed oriented
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Can perform under pressure and can prioritize needs
• Must be able to push/pull up to 50lbs
• Able to get on and off the forklift multiple times during a shift
• Able to work in hot and cold weather conditions
• Good organizational skills
• Good problem-solving skills

A typical day may include:

• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, pick or put away product
• Accurately issue and pull products from racks for delivery to various production areas
• Make all necessary location-to-location transactions on the shop floor (V9)
• Verify all incoming or outgoing products have been entered into the Shop floor at each step
• Verify all products with the correct tag and quantity
• Ensure that all safety procedures and policies are followed
• Report any inventory issue to the Supervisor immediately
• Other duties as assigned

• Salary for the position is between $21-$23 per hour (Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and in keeping with local legislation)
