Forklift Operator, Material Handler
Job Description
The forklift operator will be driving an electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as a forklift to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials. The operation is performed keeping safety as a primary objective and following established GMP, Safety, Regulatory and Company procedures and policies.
Forklift Operator Responsibilities- Move levers and press pedals to drive the truck and control movement of the lifting apparatus.
- Use scanning equipment to properly allocate all materials and products appropriately.
- Position forks under loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transport the load to a designated area.
- Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting devices.
- Follow GMPs and safety guidelines.
- Pick customer orders as required.
- Inventory material on the work floor and supply workers with materials as needed.
- Inspect trailers prior to loading and unloading product. Document onto the proper form.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Load and unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids or lifting devices.
- Inspect the truck daily and fill out operational checklists, recharge batteries.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- REQUIRED & VERIFIED
Experience: 2+ years Forklift Operator Experience Preferred

Basic computer knowledge - data entry

Salary Range: $41,600 - $50,648 / Annually
