RequirementsWe are searching for a candidate with:
- At least 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Demonstrated experience handling employee relations matters
- Ability to influence and partner effectively with leaders at all levels
- HR Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, etc.), preferred
- Experience supporting unionized environments
- Experience with HRIS platforms (Paycom or similar, preferred)
A typical day may include:
Business Partnership & Leadership- Serve as a strategic HR partner to site leadership, providing guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, employee relations, and performance management.
- Coach managers on effective people leadership, including performance issues, development planning, and corrective action.
- Support change management initiatives and culture-building efforts aligned with company values.
- Lead employee relations activities, including investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution, ensuring consistency and compliance with company policy and applicable labor laws.
- Interpret and apply federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, etc.).
- Partner with leave administrators and benefits vendors as needed.
- Support union-related activities where applicable, including contract interpretation and issue resolution.
- Oversee recruiting and selection activities in partnership with Talent Acquisition.
- Support onboarding, training, and development initiatives.
- Partner with leadership on succession planning and internal mobility.
- Manage performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and calibration.
- Support compensation planning, job evaluations, leveling, and market alignment in partnership with Corporate HR/Compensation.
- Administer incentive programs (e.g., ICP/bonus plans) and support payout communications.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of HR transactions in HRIS (e.g., employee changes, reporting, audits).
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation in accordance with legal and company requirements.
- Analyze HR metrics (turnover, engagement, absenteeism, etc.) and provide insights to leadership.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and action planning.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture.
- Serve as a visible and approachable HR presence at the site.
- $95, with 10% target bonus
