This position is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a medical provider in the clinic setting. Under the direction and supervision of the provider, the clinic RN will carry out duties delegated and requested by the provider which do not exceed the scope of the RN's practice and licensure by the state. The RN will handle higher level of care/patient assessment needs, such as triaging incoming calls, unscheduled visits, and abnormal test results.
This position may require providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Corporate Services. The employee is expected to demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values and to support Blessing Health System strategic plans and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Process and Patient Safety Plan.
Education/Training/ExperienceJob Qualifications
Required- Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Transportation capability to travel between clinic locations
- Previous clinic experience
- Possesses a current Illinois and Missouri RN license or any other RN state license required to work (Missouri, Iowa)
